Southern Salvage (1997) Limited (Arundel Towing) has been in business for more than 20 years. The Company is a family business with Phillip Arundel the head winch man. Phil has a staff of ten who help cover the South Island for transportation of cars, trucks, tractors, motorbikes, caravans and farm machinery (runners and non runners). We also have connections in the North Island to transport to and from the North.

We have the ability to swap over cars, campervans, etc for those vehicles that have broken down or damaged. We have a number of Rental Companies on our books where we provide the service of drop and go with their changeovers. We currently hold contracts with New Zealand Automobile Association, First Assistance (State Roadside Rescue) and International SOS where we provide jumpstarts, unlocks, fuel drops and towing within the Christchurch area. We are also members of the NZRTA and MTA. We are currently on the Police Roster and transport and store these vehicles in our yard awaiting assessment from insurance companies or owners instructions.
